Just makes me want to avoid TikTok (and Facebook, and Twitter, and Instagram, and Snapchat, and LinkedIn) that much more.

@faoluin Yeah, the purpose of this video wasn't to discuss the privacy concerns (which has already been done by tech experts who aren't sinophobes), but to explain the unique culture that arose from the platform's algorithm-driven nature and why the app is so popular (especially with teens) in an accessible way for people who have never used it
