We're hiring a systems engineer for the iRODS team! If you're looking for a linux-y C++ role, have a look at these job listings. (I know the description looks weird, that's on the recruiter.)

It's a remote contract position with benefits (W2, not 1099), with the possibility of being converted to a direct hire if you are willing to move to NC.

Experience with CMake, Docker, Python, and/or Boost is a plus.
This role provides opportunities to learn new technologies.

Correction, moving to NC is *not* required for conversion to direct hire.

Ugh. There may be another opportunity later for you, specifically, but I'm not sure.

My understanding is that the 4yr degree requirement comes from the university policies for EHRA non-faculty employees.
