just catching up on the apple event, they seem to be making a big deal about the watch being able to monitor blood oxygen
Samsung phones have been doing that as a standard feature for a very long time already.
i didn't even know this wasn't a feature on the apple watch, did samsung have a patent or something
seems the major benefit of having it on the watch is it can just alert you without you having to check. still, i'm amused this wasn't a standard feature already considering it's also a standard feature of a lot of heartrate monitors
if the apple watch didn't require the iphone to set it up, and features that are locked behind needing an iphone, i'd probably actually be interested in it
we're at the 6th version of the apple watch now and you still can't just use it completely on it's own
@Violet It's tying us to our current iPhone, too. We really want a PinePhone.
