Can anyone recommend where I can get a replacement battery for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F) phone? The battery runs down to about 20% then it just turns itself off. I've had this phone for a very long time now and I do not have the money to upgrade to a new one.
@Felthry never heard of it!
@Violet https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Batteries_Plus&useskin=vector I dunno if they operate in Europe, but if not there's probably someone similar

@Violet oof, that looks like a fairly involved replacement procedure! https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Samsung+Galaxy+Note8+Battery+Replacement/112251
Seems iFixIt actually carries an aftermarket replacement: https://eustore.ifixit.com/products/galaxy-note8-replacement-battery
(Though iirc you are in the UK, in which case you need their UK store: https://store.ifixit.co.uk/products/galaxy-note8-replacement-battery)
(Disclaimer: I haven't used iFixIt for parts myself, but their guides have helped me out several times, and I have only heard positive feedback myself from others.)
This is more your area than mine, but doesn't look too hard (no heat gun). What say you?

@Violet Do you have batteries+bulbs over there? that's where we go when we need specialty batteries (or specialty lightbulbs)
