when I was 5, I genuinely didn't understand how to consciously move my eyes (or at least didn't recognise it when I did)! which... was a bit weird, looking back at it.

I also didn't understand what thoughts were and would speak out loud instead (as in, thoughts that are actually in language, not just general ideas). I'm very glad I eventually figured this stuff out. :D
@chao honestly i had the same exact problem when i was that old. i don't think i actually figured out how i move my eyes until i was like 7 or 8
