there's a port of homebrew to linux..? just in case your linux distro doesnt have a regular package manager i guess??

according to the docs the main reasons to use it are
1) i don't have root access
which, okay. not a common problem to have today but ive been there
2) my distro's packages suck ass
which, maybe it's time to change distros then (extremely arch user voice) by the way i

@codl actually a package manager for nonroot would kick ass for shared servers

@zoe i guess? back when i shared a server with people we just all had sudo privileges

I know there's hashbang.sh, at least, for something way more on the "public" side
