bad games? youtube? i dont know how to tag this but i feel like it should be tagged
here is one good reason not to host your video game trailer on youtube: it's not a good look when the trailer ends and youtube recommends other videos about the game titled "[game name]: a post-modern disappointment", "An indie RPG caught STEALING for his game?", "INDIE GAME TRIGGERS SJWS", and "[game name] is the dumbest story ever written"
This game keeps referencing earthbound and it just makes me wish I were watching an earthbound lp instead
god this whole reference is so lopsided and fake. it's like none of the people who wrote "Bartender Jill"'s dialog or designed the assets played vallhalla, they were just given some promo material and two paragraphs from a gamefaqs walkthrough
also don't know why turing is there either. at least they're rendered and written a little more faithfully to their source material
@codl fucking destroyed. absolute carnage.
@codl can't say I care for this arrangement of pixels
@codl real good trick to pull in your bad game is to put a lot of cool gamer references so all the people playing your bad game are immediately reminded of a different, better game that they could be playing instead
@codl the earthbound and va-11 hall-a references are probably because toby fox and garoad worked on the soundtrack
re: yiik thread
@codl that panda looks a lot like the RCT3 panda
i guess because it's a panda bUT STILL
re// yiik thread
@codl it's deep social commentary about a whole when you go to the grocery store you're only going there for food and not to talk to all of the people that you definitely might want talk to for some reason
@codl did they get paid to ref that game
@er1n i doubt it, but it's the same publisher
@codl chuggaaconroy yiik playthrough
