mastodon is already keeping track of how much I've interacted with someone so it can recommend follows, I kinda wish it would surface it when I look at someone's profile and I don't know if I've never seen them before or if they've changed names and avatars

there's probably a terrible drawback to this that I am not thinking of
@codl I can't think of any downside to "you have interacted with this person 300 times"
@ben do not interact if you have interacted with my posts fewer than 500 times
@ben but really id be happy with a "you have mentioned them before / you have boosted/faved before / you have not interacted before" trichotomy
BTW that follow rec thing is still recommending people I haven't talked to or even seen on my feed in years
also I'm still at the top of my own recommendations
Idk if it's broken or if I just faved a lot more back then. Maybe both
