would there be a way to add functionality/a plugin to mastodon that allows users to take a thread of posts, automatically combine them all into one large "article", with a link that can easily be shared with folks on other platforms including links to the original thread and author
like...something similar to copy/pasting each post from a thread into a pastebin and then sharing the pastebin link, except with images and emotes still intact, and content warnings listed at the top
it may sound like a minor change from just reading the thread on its own, but let's face it, reading an article on a news site is easier than reading a 10-post thread in a tiny column on social media
if we had a quick, easy way to turn a thread into a shareable article, i bet it'd be useful af
