found some better brushes and a brush painting instruction book along with an ink stone, so here’s a monochrome bird (and some flower attempts)

also found some old watercolours (the kind that are liquid) but that set is at least 15 years old so they’re all dried out. cutting open the tubes and adding water tentatively worked a bit but I’ll have to figure out some sort of paint tray thing to make it work

I need to get some eggs in a plastic carton so I can use that next time

@orbal_exhaustion thank you! this was just sort of a quick practice thing but it’s v fun how just a few brushstrokes can generate a bird!
