The Green Herring

Right at the end of 2024, @mistfunk released MIST-30.ZIP (16colo.rs/pack/mist-30/) for their 30th anniversary, and I contributed two pieces! One is this redraw of a 1997 artpack piece (16colo.rs/pack/mist3yrb/SK-PUN) by the late Silent Knight (pic 2).

A bust of a punk wearing a jacket, a goatee and a long, messy mohawk that falls over the right side of his head. He is lit starkly in red, in such a way that his eyes are hidden in darkness, and only his mohawk, his jacket collar, his shirt, and the skin on his face can be seen. Nearby, the words "Live Free or Die" are printed in bold, serifed letters, as if written with a typewriter.
The original version of the image, same as the first but drawn with soft brushstrokes instead of text and block characters.
