sometimes I see someone spam a thread onto the federated timeline and I wish we didn't have to import that level of twitter brain. Make a blog like the rest of us, or go on an instance that lets you post longer
@noiob wait, are...threads on federated frowned upon? asking for a friend (i'm practicing being more of a friend to myself)
because i default to public post visibility for any of mine 
@archenoth I'm mostly talking about people who write a blog post and then post it all at once with some app that automatically splits it
@archenoth because they take up the entire column and it just annoys me
