my review of backblaze b2:
good for storing lots of data cheaply at rest, not good for anything user facing where time to first byte matters or where it would be a problem for it to go offline unannounced for six hours then go back online with absolutely no transparency into what happened or which measures are being taken so it doesn't happen again
