Während die KI-Verordnung bestimmte Nutzungen von KI untersagt, die zur digitalen Überwachung eingesetzt werden können, hat die EU mit dieser Verordnung erst weitreichende Ausnahmen für die Repressionsbehörden der EU-Staaten festgelegt, die eine biometrische Massenüberwachung durch <a href="https://todon.eu/tags/Polizei" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Polizei</a> und Dienste erlauben. Im Zusammenhang mit der Einführung "digitaler Identitäten" und den Vorhaben zur Chatkontrolle und Kontrolle der Informationsräume, kann auch der "AI Act" als einer der Schritte der EU aufgefasst werden, die zum Aufbau eines autoritären, digitalen Kontrollregimes führen könnten, das staatliche Herrschaft und Konzerninteressen mit neuen technologischen Mitteln durchzusetzen sucht.
