Hey someone in the EU
Sue Ubisoft to either remove AC2 from Steam or turn back on the DRM server... Or patch out the DRM.
That is all.

#OnThisDay, April 18, 1775, express rider Paul Revere was tasked with traveling from Boston to Lexington, Massachusetts to alert the colonial militia about marching British troops (depicted in Assassin’s Creed III, 2012)
I finished Assassin's Creed Mirage yesterday! Loved it, besides the ending :/
But I'm definitely ready for more Assassin's Creed (Odyssey is already in my backlog
)
I'd never played Assassin's Creed Origins for some reason. I played Odyssey and Valhalla and loved them both. So I decided to start Origins. Found out two days later that the newest one, Shadows (set in Edo period Japan, one of my favorite time periods) was dropping the next day. I didn't want to switch back and forth so I rushed through Origins and got 100% completion in just under three weeks.
I started Shadows a couple of days ago. There are the inevitable launch bugs but I've been able to find workarounds online. I'm really blown away by how gorgeous the game is. The controls are all changed from previous games so I've got a learning curve but that's no big deal. it includes base-building, which I absolutely love. Not having a bird to spot for you takes some getting used to. I'm not terribly far into it and I'm taking my time to savor it. But it is a delight of a game and as usual the himsterical baby men are crying far too hard over things that every game has in the beginning. Mainly minor bugs.
If I end up doing a "Let's play video games with a Folklorist" stream, I guess I will have to do that one.

'It's a fuckin' #videogame!'
Anyone else playing the new Assassin's Creed: Shadows?
I've been playing since the day it was released and absolutely loving it.
It's not changing anything in the series compared to the last, which was a ton of fun because of all the stealthy stuff you have to do.
I'm about 20 hours into it and feels like I've done much of nothing.
Screenshot I took from Xenoblade X (Wii U) way back in December 2015. Even back then and way before I became my authentic self, I was rocking those trans colors. #XenobladeX #Trans #VideoGames #Mechs
Also, Another oldie but goodie, from 2013. Assassin's Creed 3, forever my favorite in the series, was notorious for its bugs and glitches.
I decided to play around with as many bugs as possible and this was the end result. A work of art, I say.
I wonder if the current situation in the US is causing everyone to look elsewhere for money.
